Overwhelmed? Out of Control?
You’re not alone.
TV moms make it look so easy. They run households, marathons and businesses. Their children are gifted, their husbands devoted, their thighs toned. They never seem to break a sweat or a fingernail, and look perfect when they sit down for family dinner.
Your reality? Clutter’s everywhere, your calendar’s overflowing, bills are piled high, dinner’s happening – maybe, and no time’s left for you.
Hang on . . . . help is on the way!
Oprah, HGTV, Ladies’ Home Journal, Family Circle and many other media outlets
have featured Family Manager Makeover stories. The proven Family Manager system, created by best-selling author Kathy Peel, is based on sound business strategies that help busy families deal with clutter and get organized, simplify complex schedules, get family members working like a team, and find time for fun.

So, what is a Family Manager:
I think the best way to share what a Family Manager IS and DOES is with the Family Manager Creed. (I love this!) Check it out:
THE FAMILY MANAGER CREED
I oversee the most important organization in the world
Where hundreds of decisions are made daily
Where property and resources are managed
Where health and nutritional needs are determined
Where finances and futures are discussed and debated
Where projects are planned and events are arranged
Where transportation and scheduling are critical
Where team-building is a priority
Where careers begin and end.
I am a Family Manager.
A Family Manager is the one who runs the family’s day-to-day operations. When you consider all of the responsibilities of a mother (sometimes Dad or Grandma, etc. but usually Mom) just in taking care of self, home, and family, the list can go on and on. All of these roles can be grouped into seven areas or departments that a Family Manager “manages”.
1. Home & Property – overseeing the care of your home, its surroundings, belongings, and vehicles
2. Friends & Family – fulfilling relational responsibilities (family, friends, neighbors)
3. Food – meeting the daily food and nutritional needs of your family
4. Finances – managing the budget, bill-paying, saving, investing, charitable giving
5. Time Management – managing the family calendar/schedule and getting everyone to where they need to be on time
6. Special Events – planning and coordinating birthdays, holidays, vacations, garage sales, (things outside your normal routine)
7. Self Management – caring for your body, improving your mind, nurturing your spirit
So, let me ask you:
• Is your home ready for company with just 20 minutes notice?
• Can you find your car keys?
• Do you know what your family is eating for dinner the next three days?
• Are you always late to appointments? Do you miss appointments?
• Are holidays and vacations more of a stress than a joy?
• Does your money just seem to disappear?
• Are you at the crossroads of the important events of friends and family? Did you remember your Dad’s birthday…before it was over?
• Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have?
• Do you intend to exercise and take care of yourself, but keep “getting interrupted”?
• Do you like who you are right now?
If your answers to these questions do not reflect the life you want, I can help! As a Certified Family Manager Coach, I can help you restore sanity and order to your life and home.
